Double-check to see that GhostShell will fit your MacBook, eyeballing it usually works as we only offer a 13-inch or 15-inch case.

GhostShell is made with durable polycarbonate, but excessive bending can lead to it breaking due to its rigidity. When installing and uninstalling, please handle with love and kindness. Take your time with it.

Step 1: PREP + BASE INSTALL

Make sure to clean your laptop first so there are no smudges or particles on your laptop after installing GhostShell. We thought ahead and added a small microfiber cloth for your convenience.

With the plastic film removed, place the bottom portion of the case on a flat surface. Then lightly set your MacBook over the case and press down gently on opposite sides to fully install.

You might hear a click or two.

Step 2: TOP INSTALL

With the plastic film removed and your screen lid up, align the top portion of the case on the back of your screen and begin gently clamping the case onto your laptop going from top to bottom.

You might hear a few clicks again.

Step 3: FINAL CLICKS

With your laptop open, gently press together your case and Macbook around the edges. You’ll probably hear a few clicks again.

That final click is the sound of a secured laptop.

UNINSTALL

Step 1: DROP THE TOP FIRST

With your MacBook open, gently press the top clip of the screen case away from the screen until it’s unclicked. Then, move down and press away at opposite ends until the top case is removed.

Step 2: THEN TAKE OUT THE BOTTOM

Place your Macbook into an “A” shape on a soft towel or a microfiber cloth like GhostBlanket.

Starting from the top, gently press the case away from the base of the laptop and repeat at the second clip in the middle. Finally, lift the base of your MacBook slightly to pull the case away.
